Prescription Drug Abuse Prevention

Rx Drug Abuse Prevention Public Education: Large Rx drug abuse displays and take-away information on the warning signs of addiction, and the proper storage and disposal of Rx drugs were placed in medical and dental provider offices, as well as a pharmacy in Austin and a pharmacy in Scottsburg.

Scott County Drug Take Back

Twice each year the Scott County Partnership in collaboration with law enforcement conduct drug take back initiatives sponsored by the Drug Enforcement Administration. These events occur once in the spring and once in the fall from 10am – 2pm on a Saturday at the Scottsburg Wal-Mart.
