The purpose of the Youth/education committee of the Scott county Partnership is to work with partners in the community to give children, youth and young adults the skills that will enable them to be responsible and contributing members of society. Over the years, the Partnership began programs such as after school programs, summer enrichment programs, and credit recovery programs. After initiating the programs, other groups/entities took over the leadership and continue the programs to this day.
Sometimes, other groups begin educational programs and find they can no longer continue to provide the program. In those cases, the Partnership has absorbed those programs ensuring continuation of the needed educational program.
In either case, the Partnership seeks to work with partners and collaborators at all levels of our community to provide effective and efficient services for our children, youth and young adults.
